The highly successful Yacht Vision '05 was the fourth in a series of invaluable conferences organised by the very switched-on New Zealand Marine Group and New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, with the help of numerous sponsors, most of whom have signed on for 2008, along with many new ones.
The export group NZ Marine will be hosting Yacht Vision '08 from the 5th to 9th of March 2008. Yacht Vision coincides with the Auckland International Boat Show, giving the Yacht Vision delegates an added bonus of being able to enjoy the Boat Show throughout their stay in Auckland.
The Auckland International Boat Show is now recognised as one of the world's top 40 boat shows.
Yacht Vision '08 will be held in the Auckland Maritime Museum, overlooking some of the finest examples of New Zealand boat building history.
The Auckland International Boat Show is located at the beautiful Viaduct Harbour, encompassing the Auckland Maritime Museum. With stunning views out to the Hauraki Gulf and fringed by seaside restaurants, bars and hotels, it's the perfect location to showcase the best of what New Zealand's marine industry has to offer and to host Yacht Vision '08.
As with previous Yacht Visions, the New Zealand Marine Export Group will use an international collective of speakers from all aspects of our worldwide industry and related industries to objectively discuss the key theme and related subjects.
The theme for Yacht Vision '08 is: ‘Our industry is changing.' Acknowledging such diverse influences as global warming, accelerating technological advances, technology and high seas piracy, security and more, responding to and anticipating change will be a thread common to all presentations.
